HOME STYLING

"The Modern Nautilus" is a loft designed for a deep-sea diver. Inspired by Jules Verne's underwater adventure novel and the history of the submarine; the loft features a combination of nautical, Victorian gothic, and steampunk aesthetics across three rooms made using photoshop.

EXHIBITION PROPOSAL

“Dresses for Dolls” is a museum exhibition proposal based on the 1966 novel Valley of the Dolls and its film adaptation released the following year. This exhibition highlights the fashion surrounding the novel and film, while emphasizing its importance as a piece of literature in understanding celebrity culture as a whole during the 1960s. The exhibition features three display sets for the three main characters, as well as mockups of promotional materials.

FASHION ILLUSTRATION

"Green Gotham" and "Her Talons" are hand drawn fashion illustration projects inspired by comic books."Green Gotham" bases its inspiration on the artwork of Swamp Thing, done by John Totleben. While "Her Talons" black and white looks focuses on the villains of Batman's Court of Owls comics, and reflects Batman's history within the film noir genre.

TREND FORECASTING

Under the prompt of exploring a fashion trend witnessed in real-life throughout New York City, "Sports Club" documents the use of sports attire to portray a sense of luxury. Further exploration of this trend reveals celebrity influence and the increase of leisure activities such as pickle ball.
